ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB:
We are looking for a Process Quality Engineer - Smart Eyewear who will help ensure the quality readiness, reliability and manufacturing excellence of next-generation products, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production. Working at the intersection of Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing, this role contributes to solving complex challenges, improving processes and bringing innovative wearable technology to market.
AREAS OF RESONSIBILITIES:
- Support the quality readiness of new products throughout the NPI and industrialization phases.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams to ensure quality is built into products and processes from the early stages.
- Monitor production performance, process and quality KPIs, identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate quality issues and production abnormalities, driving root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
- Contribute to risk assessment, PFMEA, process validation, Control Plan definition and quality gate reviews.
- Support the qualification and industrialization of new technologies, electronic components, modules and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze quality and production data, translating insights into clear recommendations and improvement actions.
- Support functional, validation and reliability testing activities for electronic products and smart modules.
- Promote a culture of quality excellence, continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Help ensure a smooth transition from product development to large-scale production.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering or Diploma in a technical field, preferably Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, NPI in Electronic environment is considered a plus
- Previous exposure to consumer electronics, smart products or high-tech manufacturing environments is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools, including PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D and Root Cause Analysis.
- Understanding of manufacturing, industrialization and continuous improvement processes, with the ability to analyze data and support fact-based decisions.
- Good understanding of electronic products and technologies, including PCB/PCBA manufacturing, sensors, cameras, microphones, speakers, batteries, charging solutions, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity.
- Familiarity with functional, validation and reliability testing, electronic troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, product specifications, BOMs and basic electronic schematics.
- Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and effective communication skills in cross-functional environments.
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken is mandatory
