ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB:

We are looking for an ESD Engineer who will support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control system within the manufacturing environment. The role will help ensure compliance with ESD standards, protect electronic components and products from electrostatic risks, and promote ESD awareness across production areas through audits, training and on-site support.

 

AREAS OF RESONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and continuously improve the ESD control system across production and quality areas.
  • Plan, set up and deliver ESD training programs to strengthen awareness and compliance across teams.
  • Support the installation, maintenance and verification of ESD facilities, equipment and control measures.
  • Perform compliance verification and measurement activities for ESD control items and protected areas.
  • Conduct on-site ESD audits, identify non-conformities and drive timely corrective actions.
  • Support production teams in solving ESD-related issues and preventing recurrence.
  • Carry out incoming inspection and acceptance checks of ESD materials and related supplies.
  • Ensure the correct use of ESD measuring instruments and maintain accurate inspection and audit records.
  • Work closely with Quality, Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure ESD requirements are effectively implemented.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing ESD risks and protecting smart eyewear electronic components.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor degree or above, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/ESD S20.20 standard and ESD control requirements in manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ESD measuring instruments and ESD compliance verification activities.
  • ESD Engineer certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of electrostatic discharge risks and protection measures for electronic products, components and assemblies.
  • Knowledge of ESD facilities, protected areas, grounding, packaging, materials and control procedures.
  • Ability to perform on-site audits, analyze non-conformities and follow up corrective actions.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good level of English, including reading, writing and speaking.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and hands-on approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
