Your role 

We are seeking a Demand Planner Intern who will be responsible for the development and maintaining of sales forecast for the new Models/SKUs launched by EssilorLuxottica every year, driving the production and the stock distribution all around the world. In partnership with the product teams, through historical data analysis and applying statistical algorithm the planner the intern will refine the forecast as soon as new data are available.

Main responsibilities:

• Sales budget development
• Historical sales data analysis to improve forecast
• Sales forecast reviews driven by sales order portfolio
• Coordination with Local Demand Planning Teams on data and processes validation
• Reporting and Monitoring tools to be developed and maintained
• Process Redesign to gain efficiency and improve the results.

Main Requirements:

• Educational background in Economics, Statistics or Management Engineering Degree
• You love challenges and you take your responsibility seriously
• You are a team player
• You are an excellent performer with a proven excellence in academic life
• You are a quantitative analysis lover, a true Excel and Access addict
• You are fluent in English and Italian
