Your role
We are looking for a Process and CI Engineer who will organize and coordinate a structured system to ensure all processes are working within the process control plan to support yield, cost, quality and service targets and lead actions to assure production performances continuous improvement. You will cooperate in process improvement projects to achieve higher performance and process stability. You will also coordinate industrialization and pilot projects in Sedico for the group.
Main responsibilities:
1. For each process, identify areas of improvement based on customer returns, production performance or process capability, Update PCP for each improvement.
2. Centralizes information about all improvement initiatives, gives inputs/elements for prioritization. Gather information about improvement projects, build the matrix for prioritization, formalize the roadmap and follow it.
3. Assures that lean methods, problem solving tools, are known and systematically used in the Lab: is a role model for Kaizen implementation (train, coach, empower, …), defines lean training documentation, train and ensures the CI methods are properly and systematically used within the lab.
4. Problem resolution: Participate to problem resolution (customer complaint or production issue); Propose short-term and long-term solutions linked with process improvement
5. Coordinates pilot projects: Leads or evaluates diagnosis making sure the improvement opportunities are in accordance with the Group standards; ensures that technoclub members from the lab share initiatives/projects results with this community.
6. Tracks and measures the impact of continuous improvement action result. Formalizes expected results, goals, KPIs and puts in place measurement methods and tools to track.
7. Provide improvement opportunities to lab/country manager(s) for the coming year budget.
8. Develops and animates CI culture in the lab: Assures continuous flow of new improvement inspirations and participates to CI community and shares areas of improvements (both projects and CI methodologies).
Main requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering field, 3-5 years of working experience
2. Good working knowledge of English (read, write, speak with ease)
3. Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen
4. Technical knowledge on Statistical Process Control
5. Proficient in MS Applications (Excel, Powerpoint)
6. Lean techniques & knowledge, Problem solving, Production processes, Project management, Change management, Risk management, Ergonomy
7. Collaborates, communicates effectively, Optimizes work processes
