Your role

We are looking for an AME Process Engineer to support the industrialization of innovative products, from early product development and process definition to trial builds, validation and production ramp-up. The role is based at our Agordo site and will be organized on shifts.

The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing process engineering, NPI or assembly environments, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define robust, repeatable and efficient production processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Support the set-up, definition and optimization of manufacturing processes for new wearable and smart electronic products.
  • Define and validate process parameters, with particular focus on glue dispensing, bonding control and assembly process stability.
  • Evaluate glue deposition quality, identify process deviations and adjust process settings to ensure repeatability, quality and efficiency.
  • Support trial runs, process validation, troubleshooting and ramp-up activities, working closely with Production, Quality, Equipment and Engineering teams.
  • Prepare and update process documentation, work instructions, control methods and technical standards for production handover.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners during industrialization phases, including possible training and project activities abroad.

 

Main requirements: 

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • At least 2 years of experience in process engineering, NPI, industrialization or manufacturing process set-up within assembly or high-precision production environments.
  • Good knowledge of process set-up, parameter definition, process control and validation methodologies.
  • Practical experience or strong technical understanding of glue dispensing, bonding applications, adhesive control or similar assembly processes.
  • Ability to assess whether glue deposition is correct, identify defects or instability and propose process adjustments.
  • Analytical mindset, hands-on approach and good collaboration skills with Production, Quality, Equipment and Engineering teams.
