We are looking for an experienced Finance Generalist/ Accountant to join our entity in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Main responsibilities:

• Account payable handling and posting
• Accounts receivable accounting posting
• Journal Entry vouchers posting and handling
• Elaboration of Bank accounts reconciliation and follow up of outstandings
• Balance sheet reconciliations and follow up of outstandings 
• Preparation of tax and social security returns and posting
• Fixed assets management and posting
• Petty cash posting
• Support of the finance manager in internal and external audits
• Support the finance manager and group central team in monthly and year end closing

Must-have requirements:

• Education: degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience: 3+ years in accounting/finance roles, ideally in multinational companies or financial institutions. Big4 experience is a plus
• Expertise: Knowledge of local social security and tax platforms
• Languages: Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken)
• Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Traits: Detail-oriented, autonomous, proactive, and accurate
• Travel: Willing to travel locally and internationally.
