GENERAL FUNCTION

The NPI & System Analyst leader partners with network quality land plant leaders to lead RxO NPI Quality & System Analyst activities.  Through data analysis, root cause analysis and problem solving tools (six sigma methodology) and collaboration with key functions such as engineering, manufacturing, training and procurement, this position enables improvement in areas of breakage, rejects and NPI execution.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead development of solutions that enable root cause penetration in collaboration with Plant QA, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, & R&D.
  • Leads RxO NPI process via interaction with RxO facilities to enable flawless execution of Quality NPI Validation at North American facilities.
  • Leads Quality NPI validation process efficiency improvements for North America by leveraging Sedico/Tristar testing data and via enhancements to testing process.
  • Leads Quality NPI Validation cross functional communication.
  • Leads System Analyst strategy development & aligns leadership to development focus areasto enable proactive analysis of Quality KPIs
  • Build analytical tools to efficiently manage NPI Quality Validation testing & ensureall regulatory requirements (FDA, Z87 Safety) are met.
  • Leadsinfluencing of RxO cross functional teams  to drive improvement of Quality NPI Validation process   added capability that enables to enable enhanced capacity to enable effective handling of more NPIs each year..
  • Documents/deploys processes to enable raising plant & corporate organizational capability to enable statistical approaches that lead to continuous improvement in areas all Quality areas.
  • Collaborates with site leadership to ensure Quality related data analysis reporting is understood and deployed across the manufactruing floor with audits used to asses improvements.
  • Proactively analyzes trends/opportunities and leads communication to enable action planning that delivers sustainment & improvement.
  • Designs and executes database queries into various systems to get required data including SAP, LMS, PKMS, and labor reporting databases.
  • Leads report improvemenmt process by interacting with stakeholders & developing/aligning on improvement strategy.
  • Partners with facility Quality leaders to track trends to enable improvements.
  • Leads execution of systems that ensure Quality KPIs/scorecard metrics are met.

 

 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Engineering, Business or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Six Sigma Knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience in areas of manufacturing and quality assurance
  • Leadership & management skills
  • Strong collaboration & follow-up skills
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to design and improve work systems
  • Basic computer skills with ability to learn shared software

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • MS or MBA in computer systems, business or engineering
  • Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)/Lean Methodology
  • Knowledge of Lens Assortment & Systems
  • Jaspersoft & Excel expertise
  • Microsoft Project expertise

​Pay Range:   - 113,499.90 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
