Your role
As Commercial Director, Tunisia, you will be responsible for leading and driving the company's commercial strategy, ensuring growth, and maximizing profitability. This involves managing all commercial functions, including sales, business development, and partnerships. You will work closely with the leadership team to define long-term commercial goals, lead teams to execute strategic plans, and ensure the company remains competitive in the market.
Main responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning:

Develop and implement the commercial strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives and market trends.

Set clear commercial goals and KPIs to drive revenue and profitability.

Lead the company’s pricing strategy and market positioning to enhance competitive advantage.

Sales & Business Development:
-
Oversee the sales function, ensuring that targets and objectives are met or exceeded.

Drive business development initiatives to generate new revenue streams and enter new markets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions.

Marketing & Brand Management:

Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies to build brand awareness and support sales objectives.

Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and customer touchpoints.

Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns that attract and retain customers.

Client Relationship Management:

Foster and maintain key client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell services/products to existing clients.

Engage in high-level negotiations with key clients and partners.

Team Management & Development:

Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial teams.

Ensure teams are motivated, properly trained, and aligned with company goals.

Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance within the commercial department.

Financial Oversight & Budgeting:

Manage the commercial budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Monitor revenue streams and profitability, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Report on financial performance, identifying key drivers and opportunities for growth.

Market & Competitive Analysis:
-
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Conduct regular analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and areas for improvement.

Utilize data and market insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Cross Department Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments (operations, finance, HR) to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.

Collaborate with product teams to ensure the development of market-leading products/services.
Main requirements:
-
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.

At least 7-10 years of experience in a senior commercial role, ideally in a similar industry.

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and achieving revenue targets.

Strong background in sales, marketing, and business development strategies.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

In-depth understanding of financial management and budgeting processes.

Ability to identify new market opportunities and trends.
