Mechanical Technician

For our production in Trimbach, we are looking for someone to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on all production equipment to ensure operational efficiency and machine reliability.
• Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in case of breakdowns.
• Identify root causes of recurring technical malfunctions and implement long-term solutions.
• Diagnose and repair faults in highly automated and complex controlled machines (PLC-controlled systems, servo motors, sensors, and actuators).
• Ensure timely response to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Carry out repairs on electrical, electronic, and mechanical components in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to develop and implement process optimizations.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Your Profile & Qualifications

✔️ Completed professional training in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
✔️ Several years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair of complex production machinery.
✔️ Strong understanding of automation technology, electrical controls, and mechanical systems.
✔️ Knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial control systems is a plus.
✔️ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
✔️ Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
✔️ High level of independence, responsibility, and reliability.
✔️ Strong communication skills in German and English (spoken & written).
✔️ Experience in working with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.
