GENERAL FUNCTION

To assist management and Sales representatives with qualified strategic accounts and institutions as the direct contact for said accounts for all sales, customer service and technical support issues.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build relationships with key decision makers within qualified strategic accounts. Act as liaison and single point of contact with said accounts for all sales, customer service, and technical support issues.
  • Comprehensive analysis of business opportunities and threats
  • Conducts meetings, presentations, and seminars with strategic accounts and institutions.
  • Directs field and in-house training for accounts.
  • Attend all company functions deemed necessary by senior level with managers/officers such as industry trade shows and related meetings.
  • Travel required respective to on–site visits in accordance with assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Must work effectively with other company departments or divisions to meet or exceed assignments and directives as deemed necessary.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization to assure understanding and the proper application of company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A 4 year college degree or work experience commensurate with the position requirements.
  • A minimum of three (3) years in sales of a complex nature and/or sales supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational interpersonal management and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills with a PC background are preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively by company automobile or air.
  • Must possess and maintain a good driving record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a coworker to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to stand or sit and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. You will occasionally be required to twist, turn or bend. The coworker is rarely required to kneel/squat and rarely reach above shoulders.

The coworker must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
