Job Overview:
The Sales Representative – Bulgaria is responsible for developing and managing the customer portfolio in Bulgaria, in line with the company’s sales, pricing, and financial policies. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, promoting the company’s products, and achieving sales targets. The position involves frequent travel within Bulgaria, market and competitor analysis, customer presentations, and participation in trade events. The role also ensures proper contract management, collections, reporting, and compliance with company procedures.
Main Responsibilities and related activities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through continuous market research and prospecting in the Bulgarian market.
- Manage and grow the assigned customer portfolio by maintaining strong commercial relationships and conducting regular customer visits.
- Promote the company’s products and services through professional presentations adapted to each client’s profile and business potential.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by implementing the company’s sales, pricing, and financial policies.
- Negotiate commercial terms within the granted authority, propose new contracts or amendments, and ensure proper contract execution and validity.
- Monitor payment terms, ensure timely collection of receivables, and propose corrective actions when needed.
- Track competitor activities (pricing, discounts, promotions, delivery conditions, warranties) and provide regular market insights.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and training sessions; collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Technical, Finance) to support sales activities.
- Prepare and submit regular activity and expense reports; ensure compliance with budgets, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain company assets responsibly.

Must-have requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Advanced training or specialization in sales
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management within a corporate environment; experience in the optics industry is an advantage
- Native Bulgarian language skills (mandatory)
- Advanced English skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Adaptability, strong communication abilities, and a results‑oriented mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Valid driving license
- Willingness to travel as required
