Your role
As Myopia Category Lead you will be joining the Regional Marketing team covering South-East Asia and Korea, and be responsible for developing the Myopia management category by
(1) Driving expansion and growth of EssilorLuxottica’s flagship brand Essilor Stellest, through various B2B and B2C marketing initiatives across SEAK markets
(2) Assess when the market is ready for the launch of a 2nd tier Myopia management brand (DOT) to further grow the category. Once market is ready, develop the B2C and B2B plans for the launch
To be succesful in the role, you will need to manage and influence stakeholders at Regional level such as SEAK Managing Director, SEAK Marketing Head; and at Global level like Global Lens Strategy Leader, Global MPA Leader. You will be required to work closely with Global, Regional, and Local teams, including Marketing, Medical & Professional Affaris, Leonardo, New Product Introduction, Operations teams.
Main responsibilities:
• Identify unique and right growth levers and focus our efforts to seize opportunities of expansion in new and existing markets to increase category penetration & Essilor Stellest/2nd Tier (DOT) Brand/s presence.
• Development and execution of the SEAK Myopia Management Strategy and comprehensive Marketing plan encompassing Eye Care practitioners and Parents across market.
• Define and align KPIs to measure progress vs strategic initiatives. Create customer segmentation and design right-fit partnership programs and traing modules as per needs and skills of customers.
• Work closely with Training & Education team and Medical affairs team to develop training programs to educate Eye Care Practitioners, Doctors on Technical and Product knowledge, research publication, recent trends and best practice sharing.
• Work closely with coutry commercial, marketing and training teams to ensure strategic implementation of marketing and training plans to develop and build Myopia Management business within existing and new accounts.
• Prepare monthly business reports for leadership team with Insights and analysis on Business Performance, Competition Mapping and analysis to conduct gap analysis to pursue potential opportunities to expand the category and portfolio.
• Develop business cases to support internal discussions for new business opportunities.
• Successfully implement new product launches with product positioning, pricing, localisation need by working closely with Operations, R&D, and other stake holders
• Develop 360 regional marketing program comprising new product launches, Brand awareness campaigns and other Global and regional programs. Work closely with Country marketing teams for timely execution of these initiatives by allocating necessary resources.
Main requirements:
• Bachelor's in Business or Bachelor/Diploma in Optometry is preferred, advantage if the candidate has added a Master’s degree
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant Sales experience with sustained high performance. Experience in Vision care or Pharma will have added advantage
• Ability to effectively and professionally represent the Essilor® Stellest® lenses superiority image to customers and suppliers, and demonstrate the ability to act independently
• Experience to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Creativity and innovative thinking in account management
• Native English fluency. Being fluent in another local SEAK language will be an advantage
• Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
