Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible!
Good vision is a basic human right. Seeing well improves everything in life. Yet uncorrected poor vision affects 1 in 3 people around the world. That’s at least 2.5 billion people.
90% of them live in base-of-the-pyramid (BoP) regions with no access to and no awareness of vision care.
They are not reaching their full potential when 80% of all vision problems can be solved by solutions that exist today.
As the global leader in vision care, EssilorLuxottica lives by our mission to help everyone around the world see more and be more.
Therefore it is our responsibility to help eliminate uncorrected poor vision in a generation. We are committed to doing so via dedicated teams such as the Sustainable Programming team which focuses creating rural optical points in BoP areas where there is no vision care and bringing affordable products to BoP consumers.
As an intern supporting the BoP Demand Generation team in the Sustainable Programming team, your job is to support the creation of awareness and engagement programs targeting these BoP consumers so that they will understand the importance of good vision and be motivated to visit the rural optical points we’ve created to get their eyes checked.
We are not necessarily looking for someone with BoP experience but rather someone with creative ideas and the ability to think out of the box to adapt mainstream marketing best practices for BoP audiences.
