Job Definitions
A Trade Marketing Specialist responsible for leading all activities for Oakley to enhance brand visibility at points of sale.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Promotion/BTL management
- Lead and execute impactful trade promotions across relevant channels.
- Plan and implement BTL events to continuously engage with target audience.
- Track and measure performance, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement to maximize ROI.
2. Channel insight management
- Monitor the evolving market environment, consumer behavior, and sales trends.
- Lead data analysis, track performance regularly, and deliver business insights related to customers, shoppers, and categories for sustainable growth.
- Conduct regular field visits and monitor competitor activities.
- Forecast risks and opportunities, providing appropriate solutions when necessary.
3. Excellence in executions
- Ensure all activities and communications are fully aligned with the brand strategy.
- Ensure resources are properly invested in the right places, at relevant occasions, and in the most efficient ways.
- Manage POS materials from planning through execution to review
4. Others
- Support the ambassador program and engage with key influencers to strengthen brand building.
- Assist with social media initiatives by enhancing owned media channel.
- Oversee budget and cash flow management for the brand.
- Develop a strong partnership with the Sales team to consistently deliver maximum synergy between both functions.
- Collaboration with the APAC Oakley Sports Marketing Team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experiences in FMCG Trade Marketing or Marketing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluent English proficiency, both written and verbal
- Experience in Sports Marketing or AFA categories is preferred
- Educational background in Business or Marketing is preferred
