Main responsibilities:
Drive PR strategy:
- Work closely with key functions such as Marketing and Business Brand teams to identify goals and KPIs to achieve PR and branding objectives for Korea.
- Lead integrated communication strategies to build brand awareness, affinity, and engagement by uti-lising a wide set of tools, including but not limited to organic and paid media platforms, social media content marketing, influencer and celebrity management, brand storytelling etc.
- Customise global strategies and campaigns to align closer with local business needs and market land-scape, sharing insights with global teams to prioritise market needs.
- Monitor and analyze competitors’ movements and plans in-market to derive strategic insights and learnings.
- Developing, defining, and streamlining best practices for communications initiatives within Korea, supporting on SEAK region.
- Support the Public Relations Manager, SEA and Korea, in liaising with local markets to facilitate sharing of global PR assets, coordinating of regional campaigns and PR reporting to stakeholders.
Media and influencers management:
- Identify and liaise with celebrities/influencers/talents for both organic and paid partnerships to raise awareness and engagement with target audience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade and consumer fashion and lifestyle media to secure earned media coverage consistently.
- Draft and edit press releases, media alerts and copywriting marketing communications materials, as necessary
- Address all media and PR-related inquiries as required
PR agency management:
- Day to day management of the local PR agency to ensure the PR calendar and strategy is being rolled out and meeting agreed KPIs.
- Review and approve agency work, setting high benchmarks for quality.
- Set clear briefs and challenge agencies to think out of the box and optimize efficiency and costs in delivering results.
- Ensure that monitoring and reporting of PR metrics and results are done accurately to demonstrate ROI and effectiveness of plans.
Event management:
- Conceptualize and execute PR events with the support of agencies for product/ brand/ collection launches.
- Occasionally support local trade marketing or brand teams on events that are relevant to PR.
Budget management:
- Plan annual PR budgets in discussion with the local and regional teams as per business priorities.
- Monitor and track budget systematically to ensure efficient and timely use of resources.
- Administrative duties include liaising with Finance department to submit and process invoices in a timely manner.
