Your Role
The Warehouse Senior Team Leader is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced and dynamic logistics environment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and team engagement. The role focuses on people management, process adherence, and performance optimization through a strong data-driven and continuous improvement approach. Acting as a key operational leader, the Warehouse Senior Team Leader drives productivity, quality, and flexibility in alignment with business needs and evolving warehouse technologies.
Main Responsabilities:
People Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operators and shift leaders to achieve operational targets.
• Promote a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Conduct daily briefings, manage workload distribution, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Foster engagement and teamwork through regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
Operational Performance & Process Execution
• Oversee daily inbound, storage, picking, and outbound activities ensuring service level compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, and throughput, taking proactive actions to address deviations.
• Guarantee proper utilization of WMS functionalities and ensure accurate data recording across all warehouse processes.
• Coordinate with planning and engineering teams to balance workloads and optimize resource allocation.
Technology & Systems Utilization
• Ensure effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technologies in all picking and inventory processes.
• Supervise operations involving logistics automation.
• Identify improvement opportunities leveraging automation and data insights to enhance process efficiency.
Continuous Improvement & Change Management
• Act as a change ambassador, promoting adaptability and a forward-thinking mindset within the warehouse team.
• Analyze operational data and use advanced Excel tools to drive decision-making and highlight improvement areas.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, legal requirements, and company standards.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
• Promote continuous awareness and training on safe behaviors and equipment usage.
Main Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics, Management or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in structured, high-volume environments.
• Proven track record in team leadership, with responsibility for medium to large operational teams.
• Experience with automated logistics systems and technology-driven environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).
• Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity levers, and resource management techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
• Dynamic, adaptable, and change-oriented mindset, capable of thriving in fast-evolving environments.
• Analytical and results-driven, with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving ability.
• High sense of responsibility, organization, and resilience under pressure.
