Your Role
As a Customs Intern, you will join the EMEA Customs Team and support daily activities related to import and export declaration management. This internship will give you the opportunity to work in a dynamic, highly regulated environment where accuracy, analytical thinking and a strong willingness to learn are essential.
You will collaborate closely with experienced customs professionals and several internal teams, gaining hands-on exposure to customs processes, logistics flows, and IT tools used in day-to-day operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Review of export and import declarations
You will support the team by checking customs declarations, identifying potential discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy of the information provided. Through this activity, you will learn how to evaluate data consistency and understand the fundamentals of customs compliance.
- Support in managing the digital archiving system
You will assist the team in organising and maintaining the document archiving tool, helping ensure that all customs documentation is stored accurately and efficiently. This will help you build confidence with internal systems and digital workflows.
- Cross-functional collaboration
In this role, you will interact with various internal stakeholders—such as the Customs Team, the Logistics Transport department, and IT colleagues—as well as with external partners including carriers and customs brokers. You will learn how to communicate effectively across different functions to support a smooth customs process.
