Main mission :

 

• Guarantee the quality, deadlines, volumes, and costs of manufactured and/or distributed products

• Sponsor, organize, and implement continuous improvement within the production and distribution workshops to improve the site's performance

• Contribute to the deployment of new models (technological developments and/or workshop processes)

• Apply and enforce the standards of the integrated QEHS management system within its scope Detailed Missions and Responsibilities

 

 

Detailed missions and responsibilities :

 

As the Labex Manufacturing Manager you will have to :

 

• Guarantee the quality, deadlines, volumes, and costs of manufactured and/or distributed products

 

- Identifies and defines the necessary resources (people, equipment, organization) to ensure the achievement of the BSC (Balanced Scorecard) and PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) objectives in terms of deadlines, volumes, quality, costs, and EHS,

- Guarantee skills development for all teams while respecting and applying the management cycle: training plan, individual interviews, etc.

- Prepare the budget for the site's operational activities and ensure its compliance,

- Ensure the proper adjustment of production resources according to workload levels in coordination with the Supply Chain department of the French Operations Department,

- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the reliability and availability of industrial equipments,

- Ensure teams' compliance with work standards and company rules,

- Inform, lead, and motivate teams.

 

• Sponsor, organize, and implement continuous improvement within the production and distribution workshops to improve the site's performance:

 

- Actively participate in developing the continuous improvement approach (Lean manufacturing) for operational teams in collaboration with other departments,

- Design and implement dashboards and indicators to monitor and improve manufacturing and distribution activities,

- Sponsor improvement actions within the scope (projects, action plans, etc.).

 

• Contribute to the deployment of new models (technological developments and/or workshop processes):

 

- Identify improvement needs and, with the help of support services, ensure:

▪ the necessary training,

▪ the new organizational structures,

▪ the processes modifications,

▪ the new equipments.

- Support the deployment of new technologies/processes,

- Apply and enforce the standards of the integrated QEHS management system within its scope,

- Implement the QEHS objectives defined by the French Operations Department within its scope,

- Ensure the application of Quality/Health/Safety/Environment rules,

- Encourage, validate, and ensure the proper implementation of QEHS improvement actions.

 

 

Candidate Profile :

 

  • Educational Level and Professional Experience: Master's degree in production management or general engineering with 5 to 10 years' experience in manufacturing management or in a Methods and Design department.
  • Technical Skills: Lean Manufacturing, APICS-type logistics certification, mastery of the production processes and associated technologies (machining, surface treatments, etc.), statistical analysis, budget development and monitoring, operational strategy, fluent in English.
  • Behavioral Skills: organizational skills and responsiveness, rigor, interpersonal and negotiation skills, intellectual curiosity, managerial courage, pedagogy, results-oriented, leadership, respect for the Group's principles and values
