Thailand Asset Protection Manager’s core missions are:

  • providing security services and asset protection (lives, buildings, equipment, inventory, data, & Intellectual Property) to EssilorLuxottica (or “the Company”) Thailand Operations’ Facilities, Logistics Distribution Centers, and Supply Chain;
  • in line with the Global Asset Protection guidelines and policies, liaise and partner with any relevant Business functions and stakeholder.

Main responsibilities are detecting, investigating and preventing losses that can be attributed to inventory misplacement, theft, damages in transit, administrative error, fraud or any other type of error that results in loss for the company. Those shall be ensured – but not limited to – a profound data understanding and KPIs extracting from any available data sources and databases.

In doing so, She/He shall demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment; utilizing her/his experience or expertise to solve problems; developing and executing objectives for self and others and having the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

She/He reports to the Asia & Group Asset Protection Manager and, functionally, to the local Operation Managers and GMs.

Expected travel time nationwide 30%.

 

My day at EssilorLuxottica

  • Provides leadership in the protection of life and property; instruct and train all employees in Asset Protection practices and policies, identification of compliance vulnerabilities and reporting and implementation of Security technologies throughout the Company facilities in Thailand.
  • Supports the on-site Security vendor as the primary security contact during the shift and provides guidance based upon existing Physical Security Standards and local SOPs, making sure their service level meets company needs and local regulations (e.g. KPI monitoring).
  • Builds scalable solutions by providing data/KPIs to inform business decision making and directly manage and execute projects.
  • Performs deep-dives, root cause and 5Ws analysis while assisting with investigation of internal and external theft and fraud and conducts interview when appropriate.
  • Implements local authority regulations for security and safety, with specific regards to AEO/C-TPAT requirements and TAPA standards.
  • Develops and maintains a working relationship with local law enforcement authorities.
  • Effectively communicates (written and verbal) solutions and methodologies to senior leadership.

 

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Security Management, Criminology, Law or Political Sciences (or a high school diploma with strong experience with security technology, including hardware and software systems);
  • 5-10 years of experience within similar role and familiarity with operations, supply chain and logistics industry (e.g. Freight Forwarding, Warehousing) - gained through work experience in global multinational companies; 
  • Good leadership skills and experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical and Supply Chain security best practices to include but not limited to application of physical security systems, investigation techniques and incident management.
  • Functional knowledge in developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing security policies and procedures; conducted physical security risk assessments of facilities including manufacturing, distribution, trade and office;
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are required. The position interacts with Management, stores and suppliers. Person in this role will need to develop relationships across Luxottica to leverage best practices across the company;
  • Ability to handle confidential information with care;
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel and finance operation systems;
  • Previous experience in law enforcement institution is a plus.
  • PSP / TAPA certification is a plus;
  • PMI certification is a plus.
