We are looking for experienced Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team in Prague, Czech Republic.

Your role

As Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for the field marketing, trade events, online activities and PR for Omega Optix products. You are working very closely with the sales department and you are preparing and conducting the marketing activities in close cooperation with the marketing team of Czechia, CEE and headquarters.

Omega Optix is a leading Czech manufacturer and distributor of spectacle lenses. They export more than 4 million lenses annually to 40 countries around the world. Omega Optix offers a very wide portfolio of ophthalmic lenses under its own brand, including intelligent photochromic lenses from the global brand Transitions and an innovative portfolio of progressive lenses within the family of Exact DS.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Global strategy implementation: translating global strategy into local activities, defining action plans, PR and media campaigns
  • Portfolio, pricing and promotion strategy: defining market strategy for portfolio and pricing, defining marketing co-branded investment and promotion channels
  • Trade activation to support sales & eyecare professionals: creating promotional strategies, organising local and export trade events, influencing category recommendation, trade marketing support for export markets
  • Performance and budget management

 

Must-have requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or business
  • 5+ years of experience on a similar role
  • B2C & B2B understanding
  • Category development experience
  • External partners relations management (marketing/trade marketing/media agencies)
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Project management experience/ participation
  • Collaborative style, willingness to learn, ability to cope in agile environment
  • Very good English, fluent Czech
