Your Role:
This job involves biomechanics simulation and calculation software coding and maintenance. Responsibilities are to develop and maintain a biomechanic calculus software pipeline allowing to generate metrics for vision correction application.
This position requires working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an enthusiastic team of researchers and engineers.
Main Responsibilities:
· Biomechanics knowledge, with a focus on biomechanics simulation and computation with eye models.
· Creation of a software pipeline with CAD software and biomechanics computation frameworks such as Fenics to allow vision correction applications simulations.
· Technical support on biomechanics computation to other biomechanical researchers and vision scientists.
· Write reports, presentations and IP relating to the obtained scientific results
Main Requirements:
· Educational Background in biomechanics engineering / mechanics engineering
· At least 5 years of experience in biomechanical eye models
· Solid experience with CAD software packages (Ansys, Abaqus)
· Solid experience with programming languages (Python, Matlab…) for biomechanical application. Knowledge of Fenics package and meshing packages like gmesh is a plus
· Strong problem solving skills
· Excellent English level.
