Join our team as a Planning Project Manager!
 

You'll master our Optometry Roster processes and become the go-to expert for forecasting and rostering automation whilst being responsible for driving requirements, testing solutions and defining optimal models and algorithms alongside our UKG consultants. Upon project launch you’ll share your expertise with our Optometry teams and train on integrating new tools into their daily workflow always ensuring smooth operational processes.

 

The Planning Project Manager is accountable for

  • Implementing our new tool to the Optometry Rostering team and Analytics Teams
  • Following the development, testing and deployment results for Go Live projects respecting to deadlines and costs.
  • Optometry Rostering to improve based on analytics -available 6 weeks in advance
  • Optimise schedules to support eyecare revenue growth, balance labour costs with sales and enhance hourly productivity
  • Utilise the labour forecast tool to create optometry schedules. Ensure scheduled hours align with forecasts and accommodate store budgets while delivering excellent service.
  • Manage own time and help with planning for the project team in respect to deadlines and constrains

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ continuous years’ experience in Project Management, focusing on system integrations
  • Intermediate Word, Excel and Employee Payroll Systems, knowledge of Kronos/UKG system highly desirable
  • Very priority driven: working in such a fast environment it's necessary to identify priorities and be able to deal with different deadlines
  • Managerial skills: being representative of a team inside a project team, you will need to have managerial skills and be able to drive people to achieve results
  • Communication: Expresses ideas, opinions and thoughts succinctly, readily understood by listeners and readers and writes clear, concise and readable documents.
  • Effectively serving, managing, and supporting internal and external customers
  • Possess a keen analytical mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for numbers and data
