The Optometry Roster Coordinator is accountable for developing and communicating the optometry rosters of our stores in a manner which:

• Meets the demands of each business unit to both the long term and short term strategy for EssilorLuxottica

• Rosters to fill rates and create a culture of flexibility amongst the optometry community

• Matches target optometry hours to maximize our sales

• Manage compliance to optometry loadings

• Communication with Professional Services Manager & Area Eyecare Managers

• Manages State and National Relief Teams

• Locum usage to be minimized and used only in regional and remote locations across ANZ

• Manage optometry annual leave balances together with the Professional Service Managers 

 

Knowledge & Skills required:

• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Employee Payroll System

• Analytical: Applies logic and clear thinking in assessing situations and information

• Very priority driven: working in a fast environment it's necessary to identify priorities and be able to deal with conflicting deadlines

• Possess a keen analytical mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for numbers and data

• Applying and developing a high level of competency in using technical and organisational know-how to develop rosters which meet business needs. Applies and modifies learned concepts appropriately. Manages time and priorities effectively.

• Initiates and sustains effective working relationships by exhibiting skills such as integrity, information sharing and consensus building. Displays high level influencing skills.

• Expresses ideas, opinions and thoughts succinctly, readily understood by listeners and readers and writes clear, concise and readable documents. Listens for understanding and communicates with empathy.

• Identifies alternatives and makes effective decisions resulting in business driven conclusions.

• Demonstrating a "can-do" attitude and proactively persevering in thinking, planning and accomplishing business result
