Working within our Store Development team out Facilities Coordinator is liaising with our internal and external parties to ensure an optimal working environment across our store network- Sunglass Hut, OPSM, Oakley & Laubman&Pank. You will oversee the coordination and scheduling of regular building safety and security inspections, manage the maintenance and upkeep of our retail store equipment, and ensure that all organizational buildings comply with legal requirements and health and safety standards.
This role combines delivering exceptional service, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and managing store fit-outs and special projects across multiple sites. It also offers exciting travel opportunities within Australia and New Zealand, with occasional overnight stays, ensuring a varied and rewarding experience.
Requirements for Success
- Oversee sourcing and management of spare/repair parts whilst aligning with design and construction teams.
- Manage all daily maintenance tickets from stores, ensuring timely resolutions
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, OHS legislation, and company policies
- Provide client delivery, management skills and maintain high stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate and manage store maintenance requests, including approvals and capital expenditure processes
- Maintain P2P compliance and oversee vendor management, including relationships, performance, pricing, and invoicing
- Act as the point of contact for scheduled maintenance contractors, providing feedback and reviewing performance reports
- Handle defect management for refurbished stores, ensuring timely logging & resolution
- Liaise with stores and franchisees to ensure operational needs are met and expectations upheld
- Maintain reporting on maintenance tickets, defects, outstanding invoices
- Empower stakeholders by providing systems for operational autonomy and coordinating effective fit-out processes
- Conduct meetings with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to uphold warranties and maintenance standards
Skills & Experience
- Ideally 2 years’ experience within facilities management or similar field
- Proficient in project management, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Skilled in relationship management, effective communication, and influencing others.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks, projects, and functions simultaneously with problem-solving expertise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel, and beginner-level SAP knowledge.
- Motivated, confident, enthusiastic, and a strong team player willing to contribute as needed.
- Proactively seeks continuous improvement and stays informed about industry trends and evolving technologies.
- Applies new knowledge and skills to enhance job performance and deliver results.
- Focused on building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
