GENERAL FUNCTION

This position is responsible for developing and supporting scheduling, forecasting, and management of labor staffing for the LensCrafters brand. Oversees development, delivery, and evaluation of WFM methodologies necessary to maintain approved performance standards including assignment of staff as needed throughout the workday.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop labor models to support Labor Plan,Forecast by Store, by position mix, and productivity.
  • Responsible for financial modeling to ensure plans work with financial architecture.
  • Work with Compensation to understand impact to job title groups.
  • Work with business partners across organizations and Brands to deliver on LC labor expectations and influence EssilorLuxotica retail labor evolution.
  • Monthly forecast of payouts based on sales forecast.
  • Review monthly labor expense vs. forecast,plan,LY and Trend.
  • Identify variance drivers ,update management reporting and provide insights to variance.
  • Oversee labor allocation process to the stores ensuring labor distribution aligns with budget.
  • Daily weekly review of Hours performance report.
  • Lead efforts to create continued efficiencies in labor model (task reduction, process streamlining.) update engineered labor standards as activities and processes in the stores.
  • Responsible for the next evolution of labor standards.
  • Owner of standards pro application and responsible for updating standards in workforce planning tools.
  • Provide insight to field leaders around seasonal labor expectation.
  • Bi-weekly labor reporting; review bi-weekly payroll feeds for hours, wage rate and mix.
  • Responsible for labor investment store selection and reporting to ELT.
  • Responsible for new initiatives, pilots, and tests to create longer term labor solutions and enhancements.
  • Partner to IT, Operations and other cross functional teams to identify criteria for spiffs and commissions.
  • Partner with Operations team on event guides and labor allocation for key events. Provide tools for stores to understand hours allocation, open shifts, and hiring needs for peak seasonality.
  • Responsible for integration of labor analytics into store systems and reporting (Global Dashboard) to ensure we are building tools for stores to actively manage all the elements of WFM, hours, wage rate, compliment, selling cost etc.
  • Responsible for development of flex model to allow stores to flex up and down during the week as business shifts.
  • Provide labor guidance to brand leaders on special initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have strong data-driven validation,verification capability to ensure consistent accuracy of loads, plans, and management guidance.
  • Bachelor degree in Finance,Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Experience in Kronos WFM software or retail industry.
  • 8+ years experience in labor, finance,technology roles.
  • Experience with other workforce management solutions including payroll, equity, and time.
  • SQL (Oracle), VBA, Power Pivot, productivity tool acumen will elevate candidacy.

​Pay Range: 147,998.40  - 206,610.00 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
