GENERAL FUNCTION

The Store Maintenance Specialist is responsible for timely execution of Maintenance and Repairs across our EssilorLuxottica brands and will be responsible for reviewing and understanding data trends and providing service in a cost-effective manner. This position will work independently and will consistently demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making and will need to think strategically and analytically to improve processes. The Store Maintenance Specialist provides diligent follow-up, communication, feedback, and intervention with service providers and the Executive Leadership Team on Work Orders/Projects. This role will also help to create process and structure using a multitude of daily analytical reports.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively manage daily Work Order volume and proactively communicate with Store Maintenance and Brand Leadership partners as appropriate.
  • Ability to analyze and understand data for the purpose of identifying trends, cost drivers and suggest necessary changes to support business initiatives.
  • Understand current business KPIs by proposing and creating business actions to help achieve them.
  • Create, review, and evaluate system generated service partner reports to assess vendor performance and provide necessary feedback.
  • Continually look for opportunities to optimize vendor responsiveness, reduce repair/replacement time and overall costs
  • Identify trends using a variety of Reporting Tools to support overall Brand Performance
  • Track and review budget performance with Store Maintenance’s Executive Leadership and Finance teams.
  • Identify, support and report on Luxottica’s Capital Expenditure (CapEx) program
  • Lead and execute a variety of cross functional Projects across multiple brands

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
  • 3+ years’ work experience in retail maintenance environment
  • Superior communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Ability to navigate and make decisions without clear direction.
  • Proven ability to convert data into plans.
  • Organized-driven team member, able to act independently, and capable of switching rapidly between different projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of facilities repairs and maintenance in a complex retail environment.
  • Experience using Service Channel

​Pay Range: 60,405.80  - 88,424.80 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
