GENERAL FUNCTION

The E-Commerce Business Analyst will support the development of the SGH business for North American Retail Brands by managing daily activities and contributing to strategic projects aimed at expanding the business. This role focuses on collaborating with various teams, including the eCommerce manager in North America, the B&M team, the corporate team in Milan, and key retailers in North America.

The Business Analyst will ensure proper asset distribution, assortment curation, and promotion management, as well as analyze data to generate insights into business growth. They will also support cross-functional initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and meet sales objectives.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business:

  • Assist daily activities such as asset distribution, assortment curation, and promotion launches/removals
  • Monitor partner sites to maximize performance and KPIs, analyzing metrics like revenue, traffic, conversion rates, and shipping speed
  • Coordinate with B&M, Marketing, CRM, and Retailer teams for cross-channel communication

Data Collection and Preparation:

  • Gather, clean, and organize data from both internal and external sources
  • Ensure accurate data through cross-checking for errors and maintain updated data repositories

Data Analysis:

  • Conduct analysis to calculate trends, averages, and comparisons
  • Create visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present insights
  • Help identify patterns, anomalies, and relevant metrics aligned with business goals
  • Provide support in resolving data-related issues.

Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for stakeholders and leadership
  • Summarize data findings in various formats such as presentations or spreadsheets
  • Highlight significant trends and observations to the senior ecommerce manager

Relationship Building

  • Develop and maintain relationships with both internal teams and key retail partners

Administrative Support:

  • Organize and manage files and reports for easy access
  • Assist in business case creation by sourcing relevant data
  • Provide creative assets to retailers for key campaigns

Learning and Development:

  • Work under the guidance of the Sr e-com manager to develop technical and analytical skills
  • Become proficient in tools like Excel, Power BI, Adobe Analytics
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in analysis
  • Take on additional responsibilities such as website testing and contribute to evolving team priorities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce and/or website management, particularly with Marketplaces
  • Experience working with multiple data sources
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented with a strategic sales approach
  • Effective project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong Retail Math skills (sell-in and sell-out)
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Experience with business systems and analytics tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and with external vendors

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in CPG, fashion, or retail industries is a plus
  • Photoshop experience is a plus

​Pay Range: 80,798.80  - 118,456.40 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
