The Wholesale team works with our customers one-on-one, developing professional relationships based on trust and care.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager, Business Planning is responsible for contributing to profit and growth of the North America Wholesale division by supporting the Commercial Sport function. This role will plan, monitor business performance, and provide recommendations to drive financial targets of Sport brands in EW and AFA. Additionally, this role is a key business partner to the VP, Sales as well as sales directors; and will be the commercial business keystone to finance, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, corporate planning in Milan, and other support functional groups to achieve collaboration and consensus.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Drive the business planning process for commercial sport organization.
  • Primary commercial interface for the NA Sport organization.
  • Analyze and forecast sales targets (volume + distribution) on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis and consult with COT to maximize financial efficiency and minimize risk.
  • Conducts business reviews and presentations for leadership team.
  • Defining key processes based upon future growth expectations, reporting, system, and program tracking for the sport perimeter.
  • Design and implementing sales tools, sales forecast, budget planning, and ad-hoc reports to maximize performance and efficiencies in planning to assist the commercial team.
  • Responsible for creating and providing forecasts, analysis, and direction of forecasts to maximize decision making ability.
  • Manage the process of setting, implementation, and performance tracking of Sales Rep Targets.
  • Facilitates the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes by planning and coordinating the sales leaders and cross functional teams to ensure key deliverables and deadlines.
  • Work cross-functionally with support functions including finance, supply chain, corporate Milan planning, marketing, and business analytics.
  • Analyze and manage KPI’s for Sport COT.
  • Monitor/analyze sales trends, distribution and productivity for new and existing doors.
  • Works with sales ops, demand and inventory planning to research and implement channel specific supply chain requirements and streamlining opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze the sales performance for sales incentive programs channel specific.
  • May have people management responsibilities and be responsible for growth and development to a Team 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree – Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Business planning, finance, and/or sales analyst related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and critically while balancing execution of programs and projects
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and sense of urgency – ability to work within the high expectation of the company and team
  • Ability to solve various types of problems that may involve multiple departments within the Company
  • Strong communication skills required; and ability to present to key stakeholders with confidence.
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proven consultative and influencing skills to work with senior business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel (US and Canada)

​Pay Range: 105,960.40  - 161,890.00 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
