JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The STARS Product Market Analyst will be responsible, in strong collaboration with STARS local manager and local STARS Category Manager, for defining product assortment strategy of all Brands for each markets/customer (or group of customers). The STARS Product Market Analyst will be critical in maximizing store/customer performance within the market. This role will also be influential in facilitating communication between markets and STARS Brand Analyst maximizing store performance with a strong look at assortment efficiency by Brands.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Define an Assortment Portfolio Strategy in collaboration with Local Organization and according to market needs/customer profiles.
  • Manage New Assortment requests coming from the market, in collaboration with Brand Buyers.
  • Facilitate and coordinate communication about assortments with markets/customers.
  • Work to maximize collaboration and information exchange efficiency with local Stars team.
  • Continuous market performance monitoring to define potential action for maximize store sell-out.
  • Prepare Product Performance review about market/customers.
  • Make sure markets have most updated information to present assortments to their clients during Corporate and Local Sales Events.
  • Coordinate and implement ADV strategies/Brand activities, in collaboration with STARS Mktg Team.
  • Manage tactical activities (one shot) to exploit market opportunities.
  • Working as part of a team delivering excellent results and working within the Luxottica core characteristics.
  • Supporting the delivery of all marketing campaigns.
  • Dealing with all after sales issues (short-shipments, defective returns, etc.)

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Problem solver with strong analytical abilities
  • Understanding key markets / customers characteristics.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize and conduct assortment presentation
  • Demonstrated team leadership and ability to work with others to accomplish goals
  • English fluent
