Your role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented B2B eCommerce Specialist who will drive the evolution of our eCommerce B2B platform deployed at global level.
This role focuses on ideating innovative solutions, collecting and analyzing requirements from different dept. or direct from the users, designing user-centric workflows, managing testing processes, and training stakeholders on new functionalities. The ideal candidate will be a smart thinker with a customer-focused approach, ensuring our platform meets the needs of our business and clients, meaning opticians. The product specialist will be part of a team with specific process assignments, strictly collaborating with IT dept. and with digital business development team appointed to facilitate solution adoption.
Main responsibilities:
- Project management: from analysis (requirement collection) to design phase (functional analysis approval), user acceptance test and deploy strategy.
- Ideation of new solutions: gather insights from customer feedback and behavior analytics. Work with subsidiaries (marketing, sales, customer service teams, service dept.) and corporate depts. to find innovative and challenges solutions that can improve customers’ life and care.
- Test and quality assurance: Execute UAT tests and coordinate them with stakeholders and clients. Collect and prioritize feedback from testing phases.
- Training and documentation: Train internal teams on new features and workflows. Maintain up-to-date documentation for all implemented features.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure requirements align with technical capabilities. Coordinate business process owners to properly manage expectations
- Support on Issue Resolution: be the escalations level of subsidiaries when issue resolutions are taking more time than expected (maintenance responsibility on IT dept)
Main requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in digital platform management
- Project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Expertise in gathering and documenting requirements (using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar is a plus).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (using ppt, excel) with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong relational skills (being a Facilitator)
- Flexibility and open mind
- Availability for travelling (when it will be possible)
- English (very good level) – interaction with all subsidiaries
- Italian
- French is a plus
