Position Summary

We are looking for a Foreign Trade & Customs Compliance Specialist to manage IMMEX customs compliance operations and ensure adherence to Mexican foreign trade regulations. This role is responsible for Annex 24 & Annex 30 administration, import/export compliance, government audits, and regulatory reporting within a manufacturing environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Logistics & Inventory Supervisor to lead logistics operations, inventory control, and team performance. This role is critical to ensuring efficient material flow, compliance with safety standards, and on-time production and shipment execution. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Advanced English proficiency

  • Experience in inventory control and logistics operations

  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, etc.)

  • Project management experience

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills

  • Knowledge of CTPAT and OEA regulations

  • Experience using ERP systems (Oracle preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stop any material, shipment, or equipment that poses a risk to operations and identify unsafe conditions, involving EHS in project development when required

  • Manage inventory, materials, and personnel to meet production and shipping schedules

  • Oversee shipments during regular days and holidays based on customer and Lab requirements

  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members regarding work instructions and production/shipping timelines

  • Supervise and manage assigned personnel, including attendance, vacations, and overtime

  • Coordinate export activities for finished goods with the Customs department

  • Coordinate import processes for materials with the Customs department

  • Assign bin locations for new products (lenses and/or frames)

  • Generate lens receiving transactions in Oracle and ensure proper documentation
