Developing and Optimizing Processes:
- Designing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification..
- Conducting tests and monitoring the performance of processes throughout production.
- Developing new manufacturing processes.
- Leading scale-up activities for promising new processes.
- Participating in intellectual property (IP) development.
Process Optimization & Quality Control:
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Analyzing process data using statistical tools (SPC) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and maintaining detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and control plans.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations.
- Keep updating on industry trends and technologies.
- Participating in the qualification and validation of new equipment and processes.
- Conducting root cause analysis to identify and eliminate the source of production problems.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company safety protocols.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and process developments to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree or Higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic film coating, rewinding and cutting manufacturing environment, with a demonstrated track record in process development.
- Proven experience in coating, rewinding, roll cutting machines and technologies
- Strong understanding of tension control system in web/film handling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good command of English both written & spoken
