  1. JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Wanxin Asset Protection Supervisor’s core missions are:  

  • developing Asset Protection / Loss Prevention polices to address risks identified in local industrial operations (e.g. precious material, scrapping and samples management),  

  • supporting Asset Protection audits and Risk Assessments, making sure systems, policies and procedures are well maintained and follow Group Standards and awareness campaigns are properly addressed;  

  • partnering with all Business functions to assess and address process risks of loss. 

 

Main responsibilities are: detecting, investigating and preventing losses that can be attributed to inventory misplacement, theft, damages in transit, administrative error, fraud or any other type of error that results in loss for the company. Those shall be ensured – but not limited to – a profound data understanding and KPIs extracting from any available data sources and databases.  

In doing so, She/He shall demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment; utilizing her/his experience or expertise to solve problems; developing and executing objectives for self and others and having the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. 

She/He reports to the Thailand Asset Protection Manager and, functionally, to the local Operation Managers and GMs.  

Expected travel time nationwide 10%.  

 

  1. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES: 

  • Supports local AP Manager to:  

  • Perform daily analysis and monitoring of all Wanxin security systems (intrusion, access control, CCTV);  

  • instruct and train all employees in Asset Protection practices and policies, identification of compliance vulnerabilities and reporting and implementation of Security technologies throughout the Company facility;  

  • manage and guide on-site security vendors as the primary security contact during the shift, based upon existing Physical Security Standards and local SOPs, making sure their service level meets company needs and local regulations (e.g. KPI monitoring);  

  • implement local authority regulations for security and safety, with specific regards to AEO/C-TPAT requirements and TAPA standards.  

  • Performs deep-dives, root cause and 5Ws analysis while assisting with investigation of internal and external theft and fraud and conducts interview when appropriate. 

  • Follow SOP and strictly monitoring of:  

  • scrap processes, in terms of quantity verification, on-site witnessing during destruction and cross-check cycle-counting between physical products against system;  

  • high value raw materials along the entire supply chain (from inbounding to the recycle processes).  

 

  1. TECHNICAL SKILLS – PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:  
     

  • demonstrated knowledge of physical and Supply Chain security best practices to include but not limited to application of physical security systems, investigation techniques and incident management.  

  • functional knowledge in developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing security policies and procedures; conducted physical security risk assessments of facilities including manufacturing, distribution, trade and office;  

  • 1-3 years of experience within similar role and familiarity with operations, supply chain and logistics industry (e.g. Freight Forwarding, Warehousing) - gained through work experience in global multinational companies;   

  • Good leadership skills and experience;  

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are required. The position interacts with Management, stores and suppliers. Person in this role will need to develop relationships across Luxottica to leverage best practices across the company; 

  • Ability to handle confidential information with care;  

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel, finance operation systems and data analytics (must); 

  • PSP / TAPA certification is a plus;  

  • PMI certification is a plus. 

  1. CANDIDATE PROFILE: 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Security Management, Criminology, Law or Political Sciences (or a high school diploma with strong experience with security technology, including hardware and software systems);  

  • Previous experience in law enforcement institution is a plus.  

  1. LANGUAGES: 

  • Thai (native) 

  • English (working knowledge) 

  • French (is a plus)
