Nice to know
The Analytical Chemist will develop and use analytical method to support development of new molecules and
material. The incumbent will also quality operations when these new materials will reach maturity.
My day at EssilorLuxottica

• Support R&D activities for new chemicals, molecules and materials with analytical chemistry: chromatography methods (GC, LC), spectroscopic methods (NMR, FTIR, etc.), physical characterization (liquid refractive index, density, etc.), and specific methods (residual color, KF, etc.).
• Develop analytical methods for above R&D activities and also future industrial implementations.
• Select, order and comission new analytical equipment.
• Manage analytical equipment lab (calibration, maintenance, etc.).

Must have

• Master Degree or higher in Chemistry or any related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environment
• Expertise and hands-on knowledge on chromatographic, spectroscopic and characterization methods
• Strong analytical methods development and validation
• Possess statistics skill and quality systems will be advantages
• Good command of English both written and spoken
