JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate, reporting to Contact Lenses Global Category product director, will develop, maintain, and improve process and flows on Product Masterdata Management at a Global Level.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Find solutions to harmonize/standardize and normalize product information and data on Contact Lenses, understanding different benchmarks in Essilor Luxottica Group
  • Facilitate project management and integration within Essilor, Luxottica and Grand Vision
  • Build the Product Masterdata for the management of Contact Lenses, at Global level in the different sales Channels (Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale) taking into account the different back end systems and Pos (PLM, Sap, FMS, PIM, BI) and understand the impacts of every set up
  • Design and build attributes for the Product Masterdata
  • Be able to do a blueprint with the business request
  • Normalize a structured and solid data sharing in terms of data and format from the different legal entities (EL + GV) and from the different contact lenses suppliers
  • Normalize processes and KPIs on Contact Lenses becoming key corporate contact for different functions (Regional/Local category, Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing, Systems, Logistics, Controlling, Pricing)
  • Create a stable communication with Company Stakeholders, CL category regional organizations and contact lenses suppliers.
  • Create a stable communication with contact lenses suppliers on the NPI management and discontinuation of the products.
  • Support different teams discussions around new proposals on processes and encourage finding the best approach for the to be design per each department
  • Join different streams of work and be the referral point on the category for other departments
  • Provide proactive support to continuously improve the product management while optimizing the flows in line with management direction

  • INTERNAL: IT, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistic, Commercial Team, Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale, Finance: being able to understand interconnection between departments in order to support in building successful processesCL Retail Category Teams  Grand Vision: co-work with GV team internal division and contact points to create a consolidate data sharing

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Data management/Data collection
  • SAP knowledge
  • Excel/PowerPoint advanced level/Thinkcell basic
  • BI Business Objects basic/other BI tool
  • PLM/Enovia
  • 5/6 years experience;
  • English fluent speaker

 

SOFT SKILLS

  • Team Working & good interpersonal skills to co-work with different departments, Countries and cultures
  • Work under pressure
  • Analytic Skills
  • Goal oriented

 

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering

 

LANGUAGES:

  • English Fluent (mandatory)
  • Italian, French, others (nice to have)
