GENERAL FUNCTIONS
The Sr Planner Logistics is responsible for coordinating the activities to guarantee the health of the WIP flow for all finished goods categories. While this position interacts with several partners, such as Production Scheduling, Logistics, Manufacturing, IT, Inventory Control, Master Data and Planning, the focus is to act as liaison between the Production Schedule and Industrial Logistics team to coordinate and synchronize the activities to guarantee the needed production orders (KIL) to Manufacturing team.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute and lead the actions to drive maximization of Pandora's capacity
- Inbound, outbound, cleaning system and excess coverage between the different storage locations
- Manage the data to feed FIT tool
- Coordinate the development and test of the FIT tool in SAP
- Reduce / cancel / revert back to CRTD the production orders, tracking main root causes with the final goal to define and implement improvement actions
- Manage reservations and allocations, with specific focus on batch assignment issues, storage location picking strategy, and issues with warehouse status trigger
- Manage inbound and outbound custom tables in SAP
- Set control in place to anticipate missing master data for Pandora
- Manage needed tables to maintain the master data of warehouse that affects POs management
- Partner with Inventory Control team to drive priorities to fix Inventory discrepancies situations.
- In transit locations monitor
- Aging: Tracker of aging orders per status
- Track and monitoring of failing orders due to inventory movements
- Drive Continuous Improvement Projects related to material flow and logistics.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Business or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Production planning and MRP in a manufacturing environment with proven record of improvement
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Experience with SAP MM, PP and BW
- Factual and data driven decision maker with strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field
- APICS CPIM and/or CPM certification preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
Pay Range: [[80,333.63]] - [[109,778.23]]
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
