General Function:

EssilorLuxottica has created OneSight EssilorLuxoticca Foundation to harmonize and strengthen its philanthropic and advocacy actions globally, with the goal of achieving better focus, alignment and maximization of social impact and realizing its ambition of eliminating poor vision in a generation.

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating assigned OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation direct programs clinics and events. Execution involves managing and developing program partners and coordinating teams of volunteers. The Program Manager leads all clinic models, projects, and works as a team to successfully deliver assigned clinics. This role also has the combined responsibility for strategic planning, deployment, and evaluation of the foundation’s portfolio of charitable operations in North America, under the general direction of the Sr. Manager, Deputy Head of Direct Programs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research, plan, and develop the events from the conceptual stage to working closely with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation staff, business partners, and other partnering organizations to ensure success.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and reports to measure success of the events.
  • Manage expenses to ensure efficiency and cost containment, and to meet budget guidelines.
  • Serve as expert and focal point for events.
  • Serve as on-site manager at any of the events to handle complex issues and questions as needed. Be prepared to step-in to any role at the event.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving events effectiveness and participation based on statistical results from evaluations, surveys, and feedback from attendees.
  • Work with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation business partners to manage best practices to attain maximum benefit of the event.
  • Deliver quality eye care by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Sustain overall clinic operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Develop partnerships and adhere to clinic preparation standards to ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements.
  • Other duties as assigned that will result in the Foundation achieving its KPIs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in leading people, programs, or pojects in an enviroment where ambiguity and adverse circumstances exist.
  • Experience as a OneSight/OneSightEssilorLuxottica Foundation volunteer.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and proven analytical skills.
  • Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Able to work with all levels of employees and management.
  • Able to regularly stand/walk for duration of event and frequently llift and move 25 lbs to shoulder height unaccompanied.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Optical, healthcare, and/or retail industry experience.
  • Nonprofit experience.
  • Event coordination experience.
  • Highly adaptable and able to prioritize workload.
  • Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Strong cultural acuity and ability to work effectively across diverse populations.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
