GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager of procurement will be responsible for defining the sizing of non-lens inventories with all NA production entities, secure supplies, provide forecast and allocation and monitor KPIs to manage risk and working capital.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consolidate the demand forecast of America’s MP and Rx entities and define the appropriate inventory levels to secure supplies
  • Coordinates the target stock of materials management with stakeholders and local Procurement teams
  • Ensure the material requirements & shortage fulfilled to meet the production with required delivery schedule.
  • Monitor Non-Lens Inventory data of MP and Rx.
  • Review, release and interpret forecast information to assigned vendors.
  • Lead capacity evaluation and proactively communicate capacity bottlenecks to plant Procurement.
  • Maintain safety stock and adequate levels of inventory available at warehouse to support the plant production.
  • Review of backorders and issuance of Supplier Delivery Non-Conformance to vendor. Lead action plans to mitigate the impacts of material shortages.
  • Work with Supply Planning, Sourcing and Project Implementation Management teams to manage inventory efficiently.
  • Monitors Procurement activity and communicates status to appropriate parties.
  • Understand local Procurement policies, procedures, legal & taxes constraints and metrics of each entity.
  • Work on NLI process-improvement projects across the region for the inventory optimization.
  • Compiles, develops, coordinates, monitors, and maintains financial and budgeting reports

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
  • Strong knowledge of Inventory planning with minimum 7-10 years of experience in functional area (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Material Management)
  • Good level of English (speaking, writing, reading)
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PPT etc.)
  • Experience with MRP & ERP (SAP)
  • Experience on Project Management
  • Strong data analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience working with multi-national companies
  • Rigor / Self organized / results oriented.
  • Coordination of cross-functional team
