We are seeking an experienced and strategic Logistics & Customs Manager to lead import/export operations and ensure full compliance with IMMEX program requirements, VAT/IEPS certification, and CTPAT/OEA standards. 

This role will oversee international logistics, customs compliance, and inventory control systems (Annex 24), ensuring adherence to Mexican customs law while maintaining efficient and secure supply chain operations. The Logistics Manager will also serve as the leader of the Supply Chain Security (SCS) program.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee daily import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations. 

  • Coordinate the importation of raw materials, tooling, and equipment, ensuring proper tariff application and legal compliance. 

  • Manage export operations for finished goods, raw materials, tooling, and equipment via air and ground transportation. 

  • Supervise U.S. manifest preparation and cross-border freight coordination (Mexico & U.S.). 

  • Track FDA and U.S. Customs releases to ensure timely shipment clearance. 

  • Oversee customs documentation and ensure accurate processing of pedimentos in Annex 24 systems. 

  • Coordinate logistics for standard and extraordinary shipments, including special freight quotations. 

  • Collaborate with OEA/CTPAT stakeholders and lead certification processes and audits. 

  • Lead and maintain the Supply Chain Security (SCS) program, including training, awareness campaigns, and contamination simulations. 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field. 

  • Strong knowledge of Mexican foreign trade regulations and customs law. 

  • Expertise in Annex 24, 22, and 30 inventory control systems. 

  • Experience with IMMEX program and VAT/IEPS certification requirements. 

  • Solid understanding of CTPAT and OEA standards. 

  • Proven experience in customs operations (import/export) and international logistics. 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
