Position Summary

We are looking for a Foreign Trade & Customs Compliance Specialist to manage IMMEX customs compliance operations and ensure adherence to Mexican foreign trade regulations. This role is responsible for Annex 24 & Annex 30 administration, import/export compliance, government audits, and regulatory reporting within a manufacturing environment.

 

Required Qualifications

  • English proficiency - Fluent

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or related field.

  • +7 Years of Experience in IMMEX, Annex 24 & Annex 30 administration.

  • Strong knowledge of Mexican Customs Law & Foreign Trade regulations.

  • Experience in manufacturing or maquiladora environment preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Annex 24 (ZOE Customs System) and Annex 30 inventory control.

  • Ensure compliance with IMMEX, SAT, and Secretaría de Economía regulations.

  • Manage IVA/IEPS certification renewals and foreign trade procedures.

  • Coordinate Certificates of Origin with suppliers.

  • Perform monthly pedimentos reconciliation and customs audits.

  • Monitor tariff preferences and foreign trade decrees.

  • Process transactions through Ventanilla Única and SAT platforms.

  • Support governmental audits and compliance requirements.

  • Maintain customs databases, catalogs, and compliance reports.

  • Ensure compliance with Import/Export legal requirements and IMS standards.
