Job Summary:
The Automation & Controls Engineer will support the design, implementation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems, ensuring the proper operation of equipment and compliance with the technical standards defined by the Automation Leader or Automation Coordinator.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or related field.

  • Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Omron, etc.).

  • Experience with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).

  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.

  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document automation projects under the supervision of the responsible specialist.

  • Program, configure, and test control equipment including PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), instruments, and industrial communication networks.

  • Create and update electrical drawings, control diagrams, bills of materials, and technical documentation in accordance with internal standards and procedures.

  • Provide on-site technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of automated equipment.

  • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities of existing automation systems.

  • Ensure compliance with industrial safety, quality, and environmental policies applicable to the area of responsibility.
