Your role
Are you passionate about storytelling, brand strategy, and building impactful partnerships in a B2B2C environment? Join us at the heart of EssilorLuxottica’s transformation, where innovation meets optician engagement.
As part of a dynamic and cross-functional team, your mission will be to bring the brand to life in-store and enhance the value proposition of our lenses, through tailored content, storytelling, and collaborative initiatives. You’ll play a key role in designing experiences and tools that help opticians better understand, recommend, and sell our products.
You will also contribute to revamping our “Essilor Experts” partnership program, bringing global intelligence into a highly regionalized model, and exploring new segmentation approaches to scale it with impact.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop the global experience BtoB and BtoBtoC through all touchpoints : trade shows, showrooms, in store
- Lead the global Experts 2.0 program with strong coordination with regions : define the partnership program key requirements, concept store, consumer journey, animate a network of regional leaders, leverage expert capabilities from Milan (architects and design team, digital)
- Lead the phygital in-store strategy across the lens brand portfolio (including Varilux, Stellest, Eyezen, Crizal), aligning with key stakeholders and ensuring consistency across all brands and touchpoints.
- Manage the development of all in-store assets for the brand teams & Experts partnership program and cultivate buy-in and adoption by markets.
- Partner with brand and trade marketing teams to develop product demonstration tools, branded fixtures and phygital experiences for activation in stores worldwide.
- Liaise across both wholesale and retail in-store communications and space management teams to ensure an omni-channel in-store strategy.
- Oversee the Digital Broadcasting System for the lens brand portfolio, inputing content into the system, creating timeline recommendations for market activations, and providing market support.
- Manage the global Wholesale Activation calendar, meeting regularly with the brand teams to make sure activation plans stay upto-date.
Main requirements:
- Master degree or equivalent in international marketing with a minimum experience of 12 years in marketing.
- Previous optical industry experience or in-store/merchandising experience.
- Results driven and able to manage complex strategic topics that require cross-functional leadership. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of upstream and downstream partners, in an international environment.
- Curiosity to acquire and deepen the knowledge in the field of optics and/or merchandising. Ability to think “consumer” and to carry out more operational B2B2C marketing actions.
- Ability to structure a strategic recommendation as well as build and share a vision on the subjects.
