GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Account Representative acts as the Chanel lead and ambassador in maximizing quality brand distribution by creating business plans that strike an effective balance of both sell-in and sell through efforts. The Sr. Account Representative partners closely with the District Sales Management team within the region to achieve Chanel sales targets and provide best in class service to the customers. The Sr. Account Representative focuses on maintaining the established standards for distribution, training, productivity and merchandising.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieves quarterly sales, average unit price, distribution and door productivity targets for the Chanel brand.
  • Develops and adheres to effective call plan to achieve desired service frequency; twice a quarter.
  • Builds strong working relationship at all levels within the practices and businesses they manage (doctor, optician, office manager, store manager, etc).
  • Proactively manages all facets of distribution within the designated territory; audit management, openings, closings and parallel cases.
  • Ensures brand visual merchandising standards are met; refreshes & leverages POP materials to elevate the brand & ensures CHANEL always has the best positioning within the POS.
  • Utilizes all brand materials to conduct regular staff trainings to reinforce knowledge and ensure message to the patient/consumer is translated consistently with the Chanel brand positioning.
  • Cultivates existing customer base while continuously prospecting for new potential in the market.
  • Develops/conducts trunk shows and other patient/consumer events in to create brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Acts as an ambassador of the Chanel brand, ensuring customer adheres to the established brand standards with the goal of maintaining brand equity in the short, medium and long term.
  • Conducts assortment planning with customers and sets up pre-booking appointments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of direct sales experience with proven track record of results
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent training and presentation skills
  • Strong visual merchandising background
  • Strong ability to problem solve, anticipate challenges in advance, and propose solutions
  • Deep understanding and interest in fashion and luxury goods
  • Ability to embrace and follow corporate direction, especially in reference to closures and openings
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Highly professional and strong fashion sense
  • Strong business judgment and negotiation skills
  • Team player with strong leadership qualities
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to dedicate to significant field time with overnights
  • Valid driver’s license

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
