Your role
We are looking for a Production Supervisor for HMC who will oversee and lead the production team, ensure their safety, and guarantee that all products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and meet quality standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensures effective planning by projecting and requisitioning manpower and material resources, organizing coordination and collaboration with other departments, and directing and controlling the 5Ms (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement) and 1E (Environment) to achieve overall targets within the shift.
- Controls Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all shifts, including quality, labor and machine productivity, flows, Environmental, Safety and Health, material consumption, and general expenses.
- Optimizes and monitors materials, controls direct expenses, and ensures spending is kept within the allocated budget.
- Monitors and checks operators' attendance, punctuality, compliance, and performance results against targets.
- Conducts monthly performance appraisal discussions to reinforce positive behavior and identify actions for improvement.
- Evaluates job skills to ensure operators are in the right job assignments and identifies training needs to enhance both soft and technical skills.
- Ensures implementation, maintenance and sustaining of all Safety and Quality Management Standards.
- Conducts structured problem-solving analysis in any case of deviation, incident or accident and ensure all with corrective/preventive actions.
- Work procedures as required with coordination to Process Engineers. Work with Support functions on maintaining and updating documents.
A Portrait of a Perfect Candidate:
- A degree in any related Engineering course.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking with ease).
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, and evenings).
