SERVICE ENGINEER

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving faults over the phone or on-site, performing maintenance and repairs as well as installing new equipment at customer sites. Here it is important that you have an affinity with electronics and software and that you can work accurately. You do repairs based on a good analysis of the problem and the related technical parts. In addition to providing good service, you also provide a concise explanation to the users of the equipment.

As a Service Engineer you report to the Optic Works Manager, and you are part of a team of about 15 employees. This makes you the link between colleagues, departments and suppliers with a view to knowledge transfer and further development. This is necessary because we supply to the highest market segment and we want to serve them to their satisfaction and expectation. Communication is therefore content and relationship-oriented. You ensure that complex material is conveyed understandably to the customer.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You studied preferably in the direction of electrical engineering and/or fine mechanics.
  • You are ambitious in your technical development.
  • You have 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Specialist knowledge of a technical area is required, mostly obtained through a self-taught attitude.
  • Mastery of various non-similar tools with computers and software is a plus.
  • Furthermore, as a person you are independent, eager to learn, proactive, flexible, customer-oriented and in possession of a driver's license. Driving and (limited) physical effort is not a problem for you.

WE OFFER YOU:

  • Competitive Salary: We recognize and reward your dedication with an attractive salary.
  • Professional Growth: We invest in your future with extensive training and development opportunities across various areas.
  • Innovative Work Environment: Join a modern, international organization that embraces a pleasant and informal atmosphere.
