GENERAL FUNCTION

The VP of Digital Solutions is responsible for the sales and marketing objectives set forth for the North America Digital Solutions organization. The mission of the organization is to provide NA markets with modern and innovative digital solutions that support the day-to-day operations of the providers (doctors and retailers), allowing them to operate their practice efficiently, communicate effectively with the different stakeholders of the industry, and deliver the best-in-class eyecare and eyewear experience to their patients. The scope of the role encompasses the selling and marketing of EssilorLuxottica’s digital solutions to intended purchasers of the technology solution(s). 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Involved in developing and executing an integrated customer strategy across all digital channels, developing digital loyalty programs, and ensuring consistency in digital customer contact points
  • Support the sales transformation from the existing digital assets available across EssilorLuxottica and bring them into one sales motion
  • Architect selling solutions that bring value & strategy to the business and product offering
  • Oversee strategy and direction of the team, working with internal & external resources to execute plan
  • Works to gain entrance to critical accounts & secures audiences with key decision makers within the organization. Builds the appropriate network of key influencers and decision makers in the customer’s organization
  • Support the development & execution of sales & marketing strategies for the technology solution(s) in North America. Involved in defining and exploring digital platforms (websites, mobile/social applications) the organization should utilize to grow customer relationships
  • Responsible for demand management and market benchmarks
  • Coordinate with Technology Group to make sure that we keep developing the products to cover market needs and to be competitive for existing and new solutions of competitors
  • Collaborate with EssilorLuxottica Professional Solutions leaders to align on market demands and customer feedback
  • Negotiate & establish service level agreements & other key performance indicators, as necessary; provide reports/metrics
  • Collaborate with Sr. Management to align sales goals with the company’s objectives, strategy, and budget

 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or similar field of study
  • Minimum 10 years of Marketing, Sales and/or Digital experience, across operational support of large-scale organizations
  • Proven ability to coach & develop key talent & create a strong organization & culture, experience leading organizations through business transformation
  • Proven history of building relationships with leaders locally & globally across different verticals
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving & conceptual skills
  • Understand a product development life cycle & market needs within region with an understanding of global potential
  • Superior project, budget & prioritization management skills
  • Excellent collaboration & communication skills –both oral & written
  • Proven track record for leadership & management
  • Be a great team player with a positive attitude and collaborate efficiently

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
