Your role

We are looking for a  Student in Robotics Programming who will contribute to the design and implementation of robotic systems for quality testing applications in eyewear, packaging, and wearable devices. The role involves working on innovative technologies to improve testing processes and support the development of advanced solutions.

Main responsibilities

- Robotics Setup and Programming: Set up robotic systems for quality testing; program robots in C/C++ to perform precise and repeatable procedures

- Experimental Design and Execution: Design and carry out experiments to evaluate product quality and performance; collect and structure experimental data

- Collaboration with Research Team: Work with researchers and engineers from Quality Laboratory and Automation; integrate robotic solutions into testing processes

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze results using appropriate tools (MATLAB, Python or similar); prepare reports and summaries for stakeholders

- Documentation and Procedure Development: Document setup procedures and code; contribute to standardized testing protocols for future use

Main Requirements

- Proficiency in robotics programming (C, C++); ability to develop algorithms for robotic applications

- Knowledge of experimental design principles and systematic testing protocols

- Familiarity with robotic hardware components; troubleshooting and optimization skills

- Data analysis and visualization skills (MATLAB, Python, or equivalent)

- Strong collaboration and communication abilities in multidisciplinary teams

- Innovative mindset, creativity in problem-solving, openness to emerging technologies

- Accuracy and attention to detail in documentation of code, procedures, and experimental results

- Fluent in Italian and English (other languages are a plus)
